RainCatcher’s UK Rainwater Harvesting Commissioning, Maintenance and Service Contract Department continues to go from strength to strength.

Philosophy – Prevention is always better than cure and this is why RainCatcher encourages commissioning of any new rainwater harvesting system along with continuous annual or bi annual maintenance for both new and old systems by experienced qualified engineers.

RainCatcher’s Commissioning service is based on identification of any problems before a project is signed off – this service is carried out using fully qualified and experienced engineers, up to date regulations and guidelines and a tried and tested formula.

RainCatcher’s Maintenance and Service contract comes complete with regular pictorial and written reports to include notifications on any wear and tear issues, tank cleaning requirements, new regulatory improvements and ways to improve system efficiency where ever possible.

The importance of commissioning and regular maintenance should not be overlooked as although many may think a rainwater harvesting system is not complicated, quite often they can be more technical and complex than perceived and not as easy to install or maintain as one may think, therefore unless the contractors engaged are experienced and knowledgeable you can be left with an under-performing system that needs regular repairs, can cause disruptive down times and be more expensive to run than it should, not to mention the potential for a reduced life span on the system over all – why take the chance after all you wouldn’t neglect that sparkling motor!
