Here are available options for house developers
Design and Quote – Housing development
We at RainCatcher manufacture, design and assist with the installation of a wide range of ground rainwater harvesting systems. These range from advanced, fully integrated systems to easy to install basic rainwater systems for garden irrigation.
Take a look at the RainCatcher example calculations below to assist you in determining appropriate tank sizes and payback periods.

What we offer
Rainwater Harvesting Systems
Housebuilders face extremely tough targets when designing and constructing water management systems in new homes and RainCatcher is always there to help design cost-effective rain and greywater systems to meet most budgets.
Pressure is placed on developers to reduce the reliance on mains water whilst also reducing stormwater runoff to effectively reduce the risk of flooding and subsequent environmental damage.
RainCatcher Rainwater Harvesting is the intelligent solution to help meet these requirements, with rainwater re-use, rainwater plus attenuation hybrid systems or full retention systems with flow control.
RainCatcher technicians can design and engineer rainwater harvesting systems bespoke to the site in question.
System types include: direct pumped or indirect – just call one of our expert advisers or have an online chat.
Please take the time to use our friendly tank size calculator developed in conjunction with Liverpool John Moores University here.

USEFUL INFORMATION
Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology (BREEAM)
is the world’s longest established and most widely used method of assessing, rating and certifying the sustainability of buildings. More than 250,000 buildings have been BREEAM certified and over a million are registered for certification – many in the UK and others in more than 50 countries around the world.
Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA Scheme)
Much of the Raincatcher product range is accredited by the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) under HM Revenue & Customs Enhanced Capital Allowance scheme and follows the best practice guidelines set out in the scheme.
Building Services Research Information Association (BSRIACIRIA)
RainCatcher follows the best practice guidelines set out by the Building Services Research Information Association (BSRIA) and the Construction Industry Research Information Association (CIRIA).
Part G of the building regulations sets out minimum water efficiency requirements in new buildings to meet sustainability targets through saving water. Suggestions for use of rainwater harvesting systems are included within Part G.
Sustainable Urban Drainage (SuDS)
To help mitigate localised flooding, water authorities are placing restrictions on any new water being directed to storm drains. Therefore, systems have a central part to play in Sustainable Urban Development Schemes (SUDS). Raincatcher offers solutions to fit in with every project including; rain harvesting, stormwater attenuation, throttled attenuation systems, porous paving and water-saving devices.
